The Nyamata Water Supply Extension was formally handed over to Bugesera District this month, completing eleven months of work.
The project added 18 km of distribution mains, a 250 cubic metre reservoir and 12 public tap stands. Pressure testing and disinfection were completed ahead of commissioning, and district technicians received training on operating and maintaining the network.
